I was a Cub Scout in the late 1970's and a Boy Scout in the 1980's. In 1988, I was a Varsity Scout.

In 2004, I was asked to be a Cub Scout Den Leader (Bears) and in 2005 I moved up with my Den to be a Webelos Den Leader.

Women Scouters
It really comes down to a series of experiences this summer. Camp McIntosh at Beaumont Scout Reservation only has two bathrooms at the showerhouse, one for women and one for men. Then, during the Cub Scout Adventure Weekends, the Cubs (boys under 18) are to use the Women's side and the over-18 male and female Scouters are to take turns using the Men's side.

More than anything, I suppose, this is a case where facilities haven't caught up with the policies.

Non-sectarian
A Scout is Reverent. This is the twelfth point of the Scout Law.
